Primitive styled easy chair by Italian duo W.Toffaloni & Piero Palange. Heavy cognac hide leather meets steam bent Beech for a superb contrasting use of materials. A strapy, bony number that commands its own corner. 1950s design, large scale.
Measures 32" wide, 24" deep, 42" high with a 12" seat height.
Very nice patina with some water spots to leather and wear to beech wood. Nothing egregious.

This original version manufactured in Denmark by Skjøde for Parker Brothers Inc. Retains original aluminum stand and paper box.
Cube and aluminum stand show no signs of wear. Original paper box with some scuffing and marking.

Huge DC Street Lamp Lamp

A humble DC street light globe as a theatrical scaled table or floor lamp. This original GLASS street lamp globe found a new life decades ago with a Chinese red enamel coating, walnut base and custom shade. The red with black under paint highlights the highly textural nature of the original DC street lamps.
Original GE logo shows nicely.
Today DC street lamp globes are plastic and in hard to reach places.
Height with shade = 53". Height of lamp body only = 32"

Early Poul Henningsen 3/2 table lamp with matte (frosted) glass shades on browned brass body with through switch. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen. Dates to 1926-28, the company's first years of production before the designs were patented.
Marked PAT APP to shade housing as pictured. 17.5" tall. Large shade measures 13" diameter.
Amazing original condition. An excellent example. Upper and middle shade original, lower shade of later date.

Fantastic and rare incised bowl by Marguerite Wildenhain thrown while at Pond Farm. Brown and black outer glazes define features while a glassy green glaze highlights the interior. Classic Wildenhain styling and coloration.
Marked with "Jug" mark and signed, "Pond Farm". Original graphite price of $80 to the base. The high price indicating Marguerite's fondness for this piece.
